Key learning outcomes
|
Graduates prove knowledge of theoretical and practical physics and application of physics. They are able to describe historical development of physics from its origin to modern physics and philosophy of science. They are able to look for information in scientifical texts, articles, ?, including foreign-language ones. They use modern didactics methods, can evaluate school books and didactic instruments at the elementary schools. They know specifics of elementary school education and adapt accordingly the difficulty of their lessons. They know didactic instruments and theirs use in lessons, are able to point at pros and cons of multimedia instruments. They are competent to select appropriate teaching method accordingly to their students skills. This selection is tenable in front of students and/or commission or inspection. They also describe the psychological and pedagogical aspect of their choice. Graduates are able to cooperate and to solve both didactic and technical problems. Graduate can professionally communicate in at least one foreign language.

Profile of the programme
|
This study field is designed as an academic one. It consists of blocks of theoretical courses dealing with the field of general physics and selected topics of modern physics. At the same time, it comprises a block of courses focusing on exploiting theoretical background in practice. The programme also includes practical training at the school. This study programme is designed to equip the future graduate with theoretical background and skills necessary to work as a teacher of physics at basic schools.
