Course content
1. Psychology of Work and Organization and its changes. 2. Man and Work. 3. Methods of Psychology of Work. 4. Psychological profesiography. 5. Conditions of working environment. 6. Human working activity and its determinants. 7. Conception of organization. Man and Organization. 8. Organizational culture. 9. Human resources and their management. 10. Position and role of worker in an organization. 11. Psychological analysis of working output. 12. Criteria of working efficiency. 13. Working load.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Interactive lecture, One-to-One tutorial, Task-based study method, Individual study, Self-study of literature
  • Contact hours - 26 hours per semester
  • Preparation for an examination (30-60) - 60 hours per semester
  • Preparation for laboratory testing; outcome analysis (1-8) - 5 hours per semester
  • Presentation preparation (report) (1-10) - 5 hours per semester

Knowledge
Basic knowledge of terminology of General Psychology and Psychology of the Personality, Social Psychology, and Health Psychology.
Skills
- vytvořit referát a vystupovat před skupinou,
- aplikovat základní psychologické termíny na konkrétní situace v praxi,
- správně zařadit psychologické jevy do kontextu v konkrétních situacích.

Knowledge
- definovat základní pojmy psychologie práce a organizace,
- vysvětlit jednotlivé determinanty lidské práce a role osobnosti v pracovním procesu,
- vymezit specifika pracovního výkonu a pracovní zátěže,
- analyzovat organizační kulturu,
- posoudit pozici a roli pracovníka v organizaci,
- seznámit se se základními pojmy z oblasti psychologie managementu a leadershipu,
- charakterizovat specifika psychologie práce v týmu.
Skills
- vytvořit vlastní strukturovaný životopis a motivační dopis,
- využít teoretické znalosti pro praxi, zejména v orientaci na pracovním trhu,
- kriticky zhodnotit vlastní předpoklady pro výkon různých profesí,
- posoudit, jaké vlastnosti osobnosti jsou vhodné pro výkon manažerské profese,
- posoudit svoji roli v pracovním týmu.
