Key learning outcomes
|
Graduates demonstrate a deeper theoretical knowledge in general, developmental and social psychology, personality psychology and psychopathology. These lead to a solid knowledge and skills in general methodology and psychological assessment, psychotherapy, work and organizational psychology, mental hygiene. Graduates will be versed in basic knowledge of philosophy and human biology, pedagogy, ethics, sociology, cultural and social anthropology in order to be able to describe and critically evaluate the philosophical, pedagogical, sociological and other related training and education of human. Based on the gained knowledge and skills, graduates are able to solve practical problems in psychology with a focus on education. They can find, organize and interpret information relevant to the professional problems they present and defend results of their research investigation at an appropriate level of bachelor work. They apply the skills acquired in vocational training of social skills. Graduates are able to methodically prepare and organize an educational and retraining course, including corporate training. They can work in a consulting and mediation services, which require the exercise of independent psychological practice. They are able to independently search the literature relevant information relating to the monitoring issue, the right sort, interpret and apply practical solutions to issues and problems in the field of psychology with a focus on education. They are able to use their professional knowledge, professional skills and general competence in at least one foreign language.

Profile of the programme
|
This study programme is designed as an academic one. It consists of blocks of theoretical courses dealing with the field of general, developmental and social psychology. At the same time, it comprises a block/blocks of courses focusing on exploiting theoretical background in practice and on acquiring skills, which graduate applied in the field of human resources (Human Resources Manager). Find the application in the State and private institutions, organizing training and retraining courses, including corporate training. This study programme is designed to equip the future graduate with theoretical background and skills necessary for study in a follow-up Master's study programme in a related field of study, namely Teacher of Psychology for the secondary school. Graduates may also work in consultation and mediation services that do not require the performance of an independent psychological practice.
