| The lecture aims at introducing the students into the Akkadian language. The students will be acquainted with the Old Babylonian phase of the Akkadian language. They will obtain basic knowledge of the grammar and the vocabulary, especially with regard to the nominal flexion. They will be introduced into the cuneiform script of the monumental type. |
