The aim of this course is to give to the students a basic overview of Sunni Islam and bring them closer to its spiritual, moral, legal and cultural essentials. Essentially the following topics will be dealt with during the lectures: Koran, Tafsir, Hadith, Five Pillars of Islam and the legal regulation of God to Man relationships. Each of discussed topics will be taken into consideration not only by its historical development, but also its importance for everyday life of practising Muslims.
