The aim of the subject is to provide students with knowledge about the basic functions and parameters of vehicles (road and rail), general calculations related to the design of these vehicles, their components, and the main concepts, and structures of these vehicles and their components. The acquired knowledge should give the graduates of the course basic information about the design of these vehicles and at the same time should be the basic knowledge for a more detailed study of the construction and design of these vehicles.
