Although communication in written English is widespread nowadays in the form of letters, e-mails, blog entries or social network comments, academic writing is different from these types of written contact and has its special features. This course aims to introduce you to the basics of academic writing in a form that is both interesting and  practical. The skills developed will comprise grammar, vocabulary and stylistics.
