The course is designed for Ph.D. students. Conflict resolution as a subject of analysis is introduced in this course. Course is divided into two sets of lectures. First, theories and concepts of causes of war, conflict and conflict resolution are presented and discussed. Second strategies, institutions and norms used in international politics to resolve conflicts are analyzed.
