The course is designed for PhD studies at the Faculty of Philosophy and Arts. The aim of the course is to acquaint students with contemporary methods of geophysical research and their application in archaeology. The subject will lead students through an introductory consideration of the theoretical and methodological aspects of using geophysical methods in archaeology (using examples from Czech and international projects), practical examples of the potential of individual methods in various archaeological situations selected according to the students' PhD thesis topic, and finally examples of the methods for computer-processing the measured data.
