The course is designed for PhD studies at the Faculty of Philosophy and Arts. The course focuses on selected issues that are dealt with in contemporary prehistoric archaeology (e.g. the origin of artifacts and their role in past society) primarily in Europe. Students are acquainted with new theoretical approaches and methods applied in contemporary research projects. The issue will be presented via case studies and other experts will be invited to take part in class instruction.
