Requirements for Awarding Course Credit (Pass):
Attendance in tutorials/labs - Attendance is mandatory. If a student cannot attend, they must properly document and justify their absence.
Credit tests - The student must achieve at least 60% of the points in each of the two credit tests.
Individual assignments - It is necessary to complete and submit 4 assignments given during the tutorials, within 14 days from the date they are assigned.
If the student does not pass the credit tests, they must take a make-up test. Make-up tests may be taken during the semester, depending on the instructor's decision. Students are entitled to a total of 3 make-up attempts if they submit all assignments on time, and 2 make-up attempts if they submit all assignments but fail to meet the deadlines. If any assignment is not submitted at all, the student is not eligible to receive course credit. The instructor decides on the form of assignment distribution, submission, and assessment.
Exam:
The exam consists of two parts:
Written (Part 1 - a test of basic knowledge of electrical circuits, Part 2 - electrical circuit problems; each part includes questions testing fundamental knowledge within the scope of the lectures and questions demonstrating the ability to solve problems.)
Oral (discussion of the written exam and theory), held only if the student obtains a sufficient number of points in the written part of the exam.
The student must demonstrate knowledge of the material covered in lectures and tutorials (understanding of the theory and basic principles, and the ability to apply them to solving specific problems). |
