| The aim of the course taught in French is to give a systematic overview of the most important trends and personalities of the French literature from the beginning of the nineteenth century to the year 1900. When completing this lecture cycle, a student should have basic knowledge of the French literature of this period, should know its development and special national features, and be able to incorporate it into a broader European or world context. Follow-up seminars will lead students to a deeper analysis of specific texts and extracts of the most important works of the period. |
