REQUIREMENTS
attendance (3 unexcused absences max)
mid-term test (if you get above 75% in the mid-term test, your pass mark in the final test will be 70%)
final test (pass 75%, one re-sit; test date in week 9, next in September!)
seminar paper:
- hand in by e-mail, deadline: 15 June at the latest
- remember to include a bibliographical reference to your text (book/article etc.)
- Choose one topic:
- Determine the reference (definiteness) of 5 nouns in an English text of your choice.
- Classify 5 adverbs (e.g. adjunct of manner; conjunct) in an English text of your choice.
- Choose 1 preposition: IN/AT/ON. Look it up in the translation app TREQ (treq.korpus.cz). Describe 3 Czech translation equivalents of this preposition, comment on any differences in meaning, give examples.
