The course is conceived as theoretical-practical. It introduces students to health insurance issues with an emphasis on the economic aspects of health insurance in the Czech Republic. The aim is to characterize basic approaches to health care financing at the level of health care financing models, to introduce students to the issue of public health insurance in the Czech Republic, both at the theoretical level and within the practical calculations of public health insurance premiums.
