Course annotation KGM/GE1B -IS/STAG

The aim of the course is to acquaint students with following problems: Tasks and subdivision of geodesy. Form and approximation of the Earth surface. Geodetic horizontal control and its development. Interconnection of geodetic control and cartographic fundamets as far as plane coordinate systems is concerned. Measurement process and interpretation of gained data. Basic elements of geodetic instruments. Angular measurement - units, tools and instruments, methods of measurement, elimination of errors. Distance measurement - units, methods of distance measurement, tools and instruments.
