The aim of this course is to provide students with basic information about the design of representative manufacturing machines.
- To provide a general introduction to the history of forming machines and machine tools and outline the latest trends
- To introduce students to the basic principles of forming and working, including energy balance of the duty cycle of manufacturing machines
- Inform students of basic classification of forming machines and machine tools including description of their constituent parts
