The aim of the course is to equip future German primary school teachers with theoretical knowledge and linguistic competencies for developing effective German lessons for young learners at primary level, or how to design and teach an optional German course at primary school. To consolidate the correct pronunciation, communicative skills in relation to the school environment and the needs of pupils at primary school (learning disabilities, multilingualism, inclusion, evaluation issues). The students are able to work independently with foreign-language text, have an overview of institutions, projects and programs supporting German language teachers.
