Course objectives:
|
Students will make acquaintance with running of the standard field archaeological project. The praxis requires the active involvement of students to all phases of the research, i. e. the planning of the project, survey, excavation and recording. The course is taught in English.

Requirements on student
|
The student´s active attendance, participation on the final report. The attendance in the practices is obligatory according to the dean´s decree.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge - knowledge resulting from the course: |
Students will be able to solve and plan an archaeological field project in all its phases. The course is oriented on the practical aspects, students will realize their own research projects and they will elaborate their own documentation of their excavation. Students will master all of the methods of an archaeological research which they will be able to use further. |
