Course objectives:
|
The subject is tough in Russian (C1). It introduces to students from abroad the problematic of Russian-Czech relations that are viewed from the historical, the cultural; the literary and the other angles. The course is intended for foreign students (Erasmus program + other mobility programs).

Requirements on student
|
The combined examination written test and oral exam.
Student having studied texts prepares reports, essays and keeps cooperation with the teacher all the time. He is supposed to provide three essays of 10-15 pages each. Student, too, must be able to presented selected topics orally for 15-20 minutes.

Content
|
The subject opens several classical chapters dedicated: to the destiny of the Cyril?s and Method?s literary legacy, which is now stored in Russian museums; to the reanimation of East liturgy that Charles IV had been supporting during his realm; to the Peter?s I intention as for drafting Czech actors for Russian theatre; to the allied help of Russian Empire that militarily had helped to Austro-Hungary in wars in Europe; to the problematic of Czechoslovak legionnaires dislocated in Russia; to the Russian-Czech and Czech-Russian literary and translational parallels. The problems of intercultural personal and informational exchange between Russia and Czech lands during the centuries in the field of literature, science, Fine Art and music will also be broadly analyzed.
