Course objectives:

The course is offered to foreign students and is thought in English only. The goal of the course is to introduce basic concepts, theories and contemporary issues in relation to social inequality, poverty and marginalization in the EU context with the emphasis on the situation in the Czech republic.

Requirements on student
|
Weekly reading of required texts. Active participation in seminar discussions and activities. Ability to read and write in English. Student should have knowledge of English on C1 level.

uvést příklady etnografických studií, které jsou zaměřují na problémy chudoby a nerovnosti a kriticky je reflektovat z hlediska současné situace v EU |
