The diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of post-conflict reconstruction in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Specifically, this work targets on the management of interethnic reconciliation in the Postdayton era. Although extensive post-conflict reconstruction has taken place in Bosnia and Herzegovina, it seems that even after more than 20 years, the inter-ethnic coexistence represents an issue, which is beset with several other difficulties. The same could be observed in other areas of the Western Balkans. In recent years, it can be seen that the reconciliation process continues to be plagued by the policies of nationalist parties, the high presence of internally displaced persons, human rights abuses or the unsatisfactory socio-economic situation. This work aims to examine whether the reconciliation process is being managed in present-day Bosnia and Herzegovina or not.
