Práce se zabývá žáky s odlišným mateřským jazykem v hodinách anglického jazyka. V teoretické části zkoumá vhodné použití mateřského a cílového jazyka v hodinách cizího jazyka. Následně popisuje rozdíly mezi žáky s odlišným mateřským jazykem a ostatními žáky ve třídě. Práce také vysvětluje význam náležitého zadávání instrukcí a popisuje nástroje, které učitelé mohou použít, aby instrukce byly více srozumitelné. V praktické části práce rozebírá hodiny anglického jazyka na střední škole, kde je přítomný alespoň jeden student s odlišným mateřským jazykem. Výzkum se zaměřuje na zadávání instrukcí v takových hodinách. Cílem práce je zjistit, jaké nástroje učitelé používají při zadávání instrukcí a zda jsou žáci podle nich schopni splnit zadaný úkol.

The work focuses on teaching Czech as second language learners (CSL learners) in English lessons. In the theoretical part, it analyses the proper use of native language and target language in English language lessons. Subsequently, it describes the differences between learners with different native languages and other learners in the classroom. The work also explains the importance of proper instruction giving so they are more understandable. In the practical part, the work analyses high school English lessons with at least one CSL learner. The research focuses on giving instructions in such classrooms. The work aims to discover what tools teachers use for giving instructions and whether the learners are able to complete the given task following the instructions.
