Tato diplomová práce se věnuje zapojení Evropské unie do řešení izraelsko-palestinského konfliktu skrze její zahraničněpolitické působení. V práci je vysvětlen koncept společné zahraniční a bezpečnostní politiky (SZBP) EU v rámci nehož jsou posléze artikulovány konkrétní zájmy a cíle a nástroje a aktivity Evropské unie vztahující se k izraelsko-palestinskému konfliktu a jeho řešení. Na základě těchto vytyčených zájmů a cílů a nástrojů a aktivit EU je poté posuzováno její angažování v řešení blízkovýchodního sporu.

This diploma thesis discuss the role of the European Union in Israeli-Palestinian conflict, a long-standing dispute that takes place in the region of Middle East. The role of EU in this conflict is considered through foreign policy analysis based on EU´s Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP).
According to the outcome of this analysis, it will be possible to evaluate the current role of European Union and its position to Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
