The paper focuses on pro-Russian narratives in Czech disinformation Telegram channels and discursive strategies used to increase their legitimacy. Russian information pressure on the digital space of the Czech Republic increased after the start of the war against Ukraine. The paper uses critical discourse analysis and qualitative coding to reveal the pro-Russian bias contained in the messages. Pro-Russian narratives were prevalent in all of the Telegram channels the paper was focusing on. Russian Federation was framed positively, while NATO, EU and USA were framed very negatively. The channels were using discursive strategies typical for propaganda efforts, for example, emotional or one-sided argumentation.
