Course objectives:
|
The student will become familiar with the basic features of the development of the late medieval and early modern Europe, taking into account the outside Europe and overseas cultures and civilizations, including America before the arrival of Christopher Columbus. The partial aim is to introduce the possibility of linking the problems of this course and school practice the basics of didactics of history.

Requirements on student
|
Term paper show, seminar, management glossary of terms, demonstrated work with literature, the development of two maps(Renaissance Italy, the overseas discoveries) credit test and demonstrate knowledge in the oral examination.

1. Early modern period: International relations in Europe in the 15th ? 16th century. Internal political development of France and England.
2. Establishment and expansion ratios in Spain and Italy to 17th century.
3. Development of Scandinavian and Slavic countries. Poland, Russia.
4. Extinction of Byzantium and the expansion of the Turks.
5. Renesance.
6. Mental Revolution 16th - 17 Wed Science.
7. Overseas discoveries. Economic Consequences. Emerging capitalism.
8. Reformation and the emergence of counter-reformation.
9. Characteristics of the political development of Europe from the late 16th - Early 17th century.
10. Thirty Years War as the culmination political- religious tension of early modern Europe.

Learning outcomes
|
Knowledge - knowledge resulting from the course: |
the essence of great phenomena and the movement from the turn of the Middle Ages and the Early Modernity: Renaissance, Reformation and Overseas Discoveries. It analyzes the basic problems, conflicts and antagonisms between European states as well as between Christian Europe and Islamic civilization, especially with the Ottoman Empire. It will assess the impact of overseas discovery on the economic and cultural transformation of European society. Evaluate the impacts of the development of science and technology on the modernization of the world. He will prove the knowledge of early modern history and its cultural link. |
Skills - skills resulting from the course: |
working with the medieval material and written source, its critical interpretation, application of the theoretical knowledge to the field of practice, argumentation in professional discussion and elementary didactic application of acquired knowledge. |
