Course objectives:
|
The course is designed for pre-intermediate students of post-Bachelor (Master) program. In this course, students will gain a solid foundation for conjugation of verbs in the future tense, especially by conjugation of pa'al and pi'el. During the course they stop using so much shorter sentences and move to more complex sentences using reference and explanatory sentences. The interpretation of the cultural context of the language is always a part of the lecture. Students may encounter popular song lyrics or simpler parts of short stories from Israeli literature. Students will write short reflection essays in order to support their own ability to express more complex ideas.
