Course objectives:
|
The course deals with mechanics and biomechanics of the human body's locomotor system. It deals with the human body as a body. It describes the nature of normal and pathological movement, its types, postural functions, voluntary and automatic movements. Taking into account common activities, locomotion and manual activities and their failures.

Written credit test with 70% success rate.

Lectures
1. Upper limb as a whole. Fine motorics. Kinesiology and pathokinesiology of the shoulder joint.
2. Brachial plexus - structure, upper and lower type of failure.
3. Kinesiology and pathokinesiology of elbow joint.
4. Kinesiology and pathokinesiology of wrist joints and thumb joints.
5. Kinesiology and pathokinesiology of the hand. Differentiated hand movements.
6. Grip, grip types.
7. Upper limb narrow syndromes.
8. Kinesiology and pathokinesiology - thoracic outlet syndrome.
9. Kinesiology and thoracic pathogenesis - diaphragm function, breathing.
10. Kinesiology and pathokinesiology - impingement of the shoulder joint.
11. Kinesiology and pathokinesiology - impingement of the hip joint.
12. Kinesiology and pathokinesiology - ontogenesis, formative influence of the muscles in the area of hip joint and foot joints.
