This thesis describes diffeences in muscle involvement of legs while riding bicycle and changing saddle height. We observed 7 levels of saddle height. The heighest one was set on 100% of distance between trochanter major and fifth metatarsus. Next was measured 6 lowering heights where we lowered by 2% of the distance. We observed 9 muscles ( m.gluteus maximus, m.biceps femoris, m.semitendinosus, m.vastus lateralis, m.vastus medialis, m.rectus femoris, m.gastrocnemius medialis, m.gastrocnemius lateralis a m.tibias anterior), where we observed their activity with electromyograph. From gathered input data was then created comparison. And that turned out as the best tension in muscles is ať 96% of the distance between trochanter major and fifth metatarsus. We also found out that each participant has different activation of muscles with change of the saddle height and it is also influenced by their pedalling skills. Benefit of this thesis should be recommendation for setting a saddle height based on balance of tension in muscles and optimalization of setting a motion pattern of legs while riding bike.
