Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na turecké zahraničněpolitické angažmá v zemích Afrického rohu v návaznosti na zahraniční politiku neootomanismu. Turecké aktivity v zemích Afrického rohu jsou známé už od dob slávy Osmanské říše. Pozornost je věnována zahraničněpolitickým aktivitám Turecka, zvláště pak turecké veřejné diplomacii vůči těmto zemím. Neootomanismus představuje významný prvek turecké zahraniční politiky, který lze chápat jako praktický projev turecké měkké moci. Cílem této diplomové práce je zhodnocení zahraniční politiky Turecka vůči zemím Afrického rohu.

This master's thesis focuses on the Turkish foreign policy engagement in the countries of the Horn of Africa in connection with the foreign policy of neo-Ottomanism. Turkish activities in the countries of the Horn of Africa have been known since the glory of the Ottoman Empire. Attention is paid to Turkey's foreign policy activities, especially Turkish public diplomacy towards these countries. Neo-Ottomanism is an important element of Turkish foreign policy, which can be understood as a practical manifestation of Turkish soft power. The objective of this master's thesis is to evaluate the foreign policy of Turkey towards the countries of the Horn of Africa.
