Course objectives:

Make students acquainted with a based ecology concepts. Make students acquainted with the main problems of environment and a corresponding laws. Make students acquainted with a methods and means to environment protection.

Content
|
1. Introduction. Elementary notions and terminology in the sphere of environment, sorting of environment, specializations engaged in environment. Ecology ? elementary notions.
2. Ecosystem and his functions, elementary acts, system regulation, homeostasis.
3. Biosphere, nature sources ? summary. Solar radiation, ground, water, air, fauna, flora, mineral resources.
4. Human environment, environment condition, elementary problems and strategies in the sphere of environment.
5. Power engineering influence on environment and elimination possibilities of adverse influences.
6. Air technique protection, air pollution, emission, immission. Legislature.
7. Stiff and gas pollutants separation ? principles of methods and technical realization summary.
8. Water protection technique. Water supply-engineering and balneotechnics. Water resources, water treatment, accumulation, distribution.
9. Sewer system and sewer network. All sorts of sewage water and their purification.
10. Hygienic and control aspects, law bearing in the sphere of water protection.
11. Waste management technologies. The present state and development of waste management abroad and in the CZR.
12. Enactment in waste management. Examples of enactment in the neighboring state.
13. Treatment with waste ? techniques of treatment with waste and economy in the waste management.
The industrial experts take part on the lecture in the course.
