Course objectives:
|
To get experience and skills in solving of the influence of non-stationary situations of asynchronous motor in symmetrical and asymmetrical transient processes on electric power system, knowledge about transient effects in electric power system.

Requirements on student
|
Credit: Demonstration of knowledge from lectured and exercises. Examination: Written and verbal part.

Content
|
Lectures:
Mathematical solution of non-stable states of synchronous machine at symmetrical and non-symmetrical transient phenomena. Stability of synchronous machines and electric networks. Symmetrical and non-symmetrical, impact, electromagnetic and electromechanical transient phenomena in electric networks.
Seminars:
- substitute diagrams basic elements of electric networks suitable for modeling
- method of symmetrical component systems for noon-symmetrical states solution
- example of solution of non-symmetrical fault on electric line between synchronous machine and transmission network realized with mathematical analysis and application software
- ways of modeling of impact transient phenomena on transformer using analytical and numerical mathematic methods, software package MATLAB and modeling tool DYNAST
- mathematical solution of electro mechanic transient phenomena of synchronous machine concerned on its stability
- modeling of electro mechanic transient phenomena of synchronous machine in environment of software tool DYNAST
