Course objectives:
|
To provide to students overview of personnel processes in organizations. To give the knowledge of methods and procedures, that can be used in organizations and in management of small working groups too. To teach the students to understand the main points of personnel, sociological and psychological issues of organizations.

Requirements on student
|
Credit prerequisites:
- Preparedness and active participation during the practical sessions.
- Seminar paper. Topics of the seminar papers will correspond with the content of the subject and will be announced before the start of academic year.
Examination prerequisites:
Written test, possibly oral interview.
- Exam: content of lectures and practical sessions.
- The signs that the student gets from the seminar papers and activity are also the part of the whole evaluation.

People in HR processes- subject and object in personnel processes, types of personnel processes.
Organizational learning, organizational behavior.
Orientation in organization, subsystems of organization, communication, specifics of different types of organizations (SMEs, multinational, etc.).
Personal and professional development and career, managing problems, crises, resistance, self-management.
Social and motivation programs in organization.
People as creators and a part of corporate culture.
Innovative activity and creativity in organization.
Group and team processes- work in a department, teamwork, solving problems in team, creating confidence.
Characteristic of the main HR processes in organizations
Current trends in jobs and specifics.
Economic evaluation of personnel processes.
HR aspects of selected management methods: MBO, kaizen, etc.
