Course objectives:
|
The aim of this course is to introduce students to the theory and practices of the discursus of argumentation; to overview the development of modern argumentation theories. The course is offered every two years.

Content
|
Theory of argumentation in the context of New Rhetoric and Informal Logics. Integrated character of of the discursus of argumentation by the view-point of linguistics, psychology, logics and the theory of science. Argumentation strategy. Analysis of the content and formal aspect of the argumentation according to its lingual, psychological, logical and theoretical basis. The polemic as the instrument of the solution of the problems. Ethic aspects of the argumentation.
