Course objectives:
|
The aim of this course is to introduce students into the progress of philosophy of religion. Present basic elements of particular periods, since first ideas of philosophy of religion, over Middle Ages ideas of "clerical fathers", till present systems interested in this theme. This course will be interested also in modern ideas of philosophy of religion in Czech country.

|
This topics will be focused: origin of philosophy of religion in antique tradition, Middle Ages philosophy of "clerical fathers", questions of confessial philosophy of religion in connection with historical partition of Christianity, present philosophy of religion with accent on Czech country.

Students will be able to summarize and evaluate basic elements of particular historical periods of progress of philosophy of religion. They will compare important texts interested in this theme and they will also study basic ideas of authors, whose works influenced the progress of philosophy of religion.
