Course objectives:

To provide students of primary school teaching with the competences needed for teaching stylistics and communication in accordance with RVP ZV.
|
Requirements on student
|
Active participation in discussion and class activities, work on given assignments, seminar paper.

Content
|
Teaching stylistics at primary school level. Development of theories and conceptions of teaching stylistics to the present. Importance, aim and content of teaching stylistics. Process of teaching stylistics and its methods. Creation of coherent texts using reproductive and productive procedures. Stylistic procedures and forms at primary school level. Specific features of spoken and written texts. Specifics of teaching in mixed and heterogeneous classes. Awareness of the subject of stylistics (school curricula, textbooks and handbooks) and the ability to work with teaching materials of stylistics. Training of methodic procedures during creation of stylistic forms. Evaluation of learners' texts.

Knowledge - knowledge resulting from the course: |
Students are able to
- analyse Framework Education Programme concerning expected learning outcomes,
- design lesson plans of teaching stylistics and communication focused on various topics,
- choose suitable forms and types of work,
- apply various methods of teaching appropriately,
- integrate all three component parts of teaching Czech (linguistic, stylistics and literary) in a natural way,
- critically evaluate current textbooks of Czech for primary school level and compare their structure, content and recommended methods with respect to requirements of RVP ZV. |
