Course objectives:
|
The lectures provide an outline of the contemporary cognizance and research perspectives of European archaeology between the 16th - 18th century. Selected vectors of research and the examples of theoretically and methodologically elaborate archaeological studies of Early Modern Era Europe will be introduced. Trends in foreign research will be compared to the direction of contemporary archaeology of the Early Modern Era in the Czech Republic.
