Course objectives:
|
This course aims to introduce students to short journalistic texts on German with present social and political topics (including problems concerning ecology, social questions, innovation in technical sphere etc.) Students will read, translate and interpret these texts in discussion. Emphasis is put on understanding of the text. This course is intended for bachelor?s studies. The course is taught in German.

Knowledge - knowledge resulting from the course: |
Students enlarge their vocabulary concerning given topics, so that they are able to summarize and explain the main idea of the text. Students will learn to recognize individual function styles and language resources corresponding to them.
