Course objectives:
|
The excursion is an interactive adventure for students with presentation of various aspects of life in the Czech-German border. The excursion program is always built on an interdisciplinary basis.

Requirements on student
|
Complete the worksheets, present experiences and knowledge of excursions through group project.

Content
|
The visit of selected places in the Czech-German border to present the transformation of this area and their reflection in terms of coexistence of Czechs and Germans. Visitors inspect the sights of the Middle Ages in which they are Czech-German relations a beginning, closely get acquainted with storing mementos II. World War II in the form of a memorial at the site of the concentration camp and the transformation of the way the mediation of historical experience. The excursion will complete visits to museums (devoted in part or in full reflection of Czech-German relations), admission to the Hall of selected cities in the border region and visit the company based in the border region. During the excursion, participants will record their progress, their experiences, factual and linguistic knowledge into prepared worksheets. Each day of the excursion will be summarized in a joint debate.
