The subject is conceived as theoretical-practical with practical scope for general nurse work. The subject emphasizes the differences in nursing care among individuals with different religious, cultural, ethnic characteristics.

Syllabus of the course:
Historical development of transcultural nursing.
Multicultural and transcultural nursing.
Cultural specific nursing models of Leininger and Giger and Davidhizar and others and their application in practice.
Cultural shock in the treatment of foreigners and minorities.
Foreigners in the Czech Republic and issues of integration and health care.
Legislative anchoring of health care for foreigners in the Czech Republic.
Ethnic, religious communities in the Czech Republic: historical development of the community in the world, in the Czech Republic, community philosophy of life, characteristics, spiritual development, community health assessment.

definovat specifické ošetřovatelské modely, které umí použít do praxe |
