After introductory training the student becomes an assistant to a person with mental or combined disability. He enables contact with not disadvantaged population, training of social skills and devoting to hobbies that would otherwise be almost impossible.
2. Programmes ?Individual tutoring of children from socially disadvantaged environment? and Mentoring adolescents from socially disadvantaged environment carried out by the society Tady a teď ( Here and Now). In the programme students are acquainted with the problems of these children and adolescents in the educational process and they get a possibility to get to know the specific features of their family environment. Tutoring is for children an irreplaceable part of school preparation. Tutoring programme in home environment and mentoring programme leads youngsters to higher motivation, long term interest and thus to better results.

Student works in the project as a personal assistant of the client. He attends with the client activities and actions organized by the organization. The duty of each assistant is to keep documentation recording the course of the particular programme and to write a final reflection. Each student must be trained before practice (first aid, approach and communication with handicapped clients, documentation) , he gets methodological support and during the project each student participates in three supervising meetings. When the programme finishes each student gets the certificate of practice completion.
During the semester there are three classes of practice per week. The teacher is always available for consultation.
