Základním tématem bakalářské práce je analýza kampaně kandidáta Republikánské strany před prezidentskými volbami ve Spojených státech amerických v roce 2016. V úvodní části práce jsou popsány strategie, negativní kampaň, branding a používání sociálních sítí v průběhu prezidentské kampaně. V další části bakalářské práce je představena samotná strategie republikánského kandidáta, používání negativní kampaně a jak bylo využíváno sociálních sítí. Kandidátem Republikánské strany byl podnikatel Donald Trump. Má bakalářská práce popisuje Trumpovu strategii, kterou používal během prezidentské kampaně, jak negativně napadal své oponenty, jakým způsobem získával voliče díky sociálním sítím. Donald Trump během prezidentské kampaně budoval svou osobnostní značku. Trumpovy metody a cíle jsou popsány v následující části práce. Tato část rovněž popisuje chování a vystupování Donalda Trumpa během předvolebních debat.

This bachelor´s thesis main focus is on the Analysis of the campaign of the candidate of the Republican Party for presidential elections in the United States of America in 2016. In the first part of this work, there are described strategies, negative campaign, branding, and social networking during the presidential campaign. In the next part of the bachelor thesis there is presented a specific strategy of the Republican candidate. He used negative campaign practices and how he used social networks. The Republican Party candidate for the post of President of the United States was businessman Donald Trump. My bachelor thesis describes Trump's strategies that he used during his presidential campaign, how he negatively attacked his opponents, and gained support from voters using social networks. During his presidential campaign, Donald Trump built his own personal brand. Trump's methods and goals to ensure successful branding are described in the next section. This section also described the behavior and performance of Donald Trump on pre-election debates.
