Annotation in English
This work's subject is a research on clash of interests between Russia and other external actors in the region of North Caucasus. Theoretical framework is based on a concept of soft power and gepolitical theories. The work is paying attention to theoretical basis in a first place. Using quantitative approach to a content analysis we define partakers (actors) that appear in the region. Their activities are then divided into three sectors, which are circumscribed by soft power grounds. Those sectors are political, economical and a socio-cultural. Even though there's an apparent domination of Russian Federation in all the sectors, it became clear that, in last years, Caucasus started opening itself to the world. Foreign actors are active here in different degrees, and they have different goals. Opening of the Cuacasus to the Foreign actors could be percieved as Russia's attempt to stabilize the region. In this work, we use great deal of both English and Russian scholarly literature, as well as articles based on the content analysis.
