In this diploma thesis I dealt with the delegitimization of the enemy by means of a label. The work was conceived as a case study of the conflict in Sri Lanka and a terrorist label. I first introduced the labelling theory, then I designed a terrorist signification in the Sri Lanka during the conflict. And then I researched the label through various statements and description of the events, focusing on the form and change of the content of the label.
