The thesis is a qualitative case study and analysis of eurosceptic attitudes of the British United Kingdom Independence Party (UKIP). The aim of the thesis is to offer a contextualization of the analyzed party and to find a relation between UKIP, populist radical right parties (PRRPs) and the populist (thin) ideology by testing specified hypotheses. The thesis is divided in two parts. The first part is a theoretical one in which I present three key concepts. The first one is populism as a thin ideology, the second one is the ideology of PRRPs whereas the third part consists of euroscepticism through the lens of relevant authors. The aim of the theoretical part is to present a conceptualisation of the factors that play significant role in the party's ideology. The second part first presents concept of British exceptionalism which also plays significant role in the formation of the party's ideology. Then I move on to the aforementioned analysis and the results are presented in the conclusion.
