Výsledky byly vzájemně zkontrolovány a porovnány. Pro vypracování této diplomové práce byl použit software MATLAB, MS Office, Autodesk AutoCAD, Ansys.

The submitted thesis is focused on the design of a traction squirrel cage asynchronous machine, cooled by air, for a compact traction unit. Potential of the thesis is to substitute currently designed unit, made up of synchronous machine with permanent magnets with water cooling. The design was performed firstly analytically and thereafter with the help of a software, which uses finite element method. The results were mutually controlled and compared. For elaboration of this thesis there was used software MATLAB, MS Office, Autodesk AutoCAD, Ansys.
