Educational goals
|
The graduates, according to the field of their study, show the knowledge and understanding of car construction, vehicle sensors and action parts, control and communication bus bars, power supply and charging systems, electromagnetic compatibility, navigation and communication technology, development and service work diagnostics, computer simulation means or in the area of electronic systems, telecommunications, and electromagnetic compatibility. They have the knowledge of railway signalling and safety systems, they also understand the principles of design and construction of railway safety systems.
They are capable of developing HW as well as SW parts of the systems, solving the problems of data transmission and processing, system testing or in the area of traction vehicle structure - electro automobiles, public means of transport, electric locomotives, in the area of electric drives, power electronics and regulation technology, as well as in the area of microcontroller technology, electronic systems, power semi-conductor components, electromagnetic compatibility, and structure and equipment of traction stations.
They are able to create scientific analysis of problems through the knowledge integration of new or interdisciplinary branches and form their own opinion on the basis of incomplete or restricted information.
The graduates can develop new skills in reaction to the newest knowledge and methods.
They can interpret the results, methods and supportive arguments of projects to both professional and non-professional audience with use of suitable techniques.
The graduates are proficient in spoken as well as written technical English; they are able to have conversation in this language.

Specialization profile
|
This study programme is designed as an academic one. It consists of blocks of theoretical courses dealing with the field of electronics, energy, electrical engineering, management and ecology. At the same time, it comprises a blocks of courses focusing on exploiting theoretical background in practice.
This study programme is designed to equip the future graduate with theoretical background and skills necessary for study in a follow-up Doctoral?s study programme in a related field of study.
In addition, after successfully completing this study programme, the graduate can apply for positions in various fields.
