V 60. a 70. letech minulého století se v USA v Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) uskutečnil úspěšný experiment s provozem reaktoru s transmutorem s roztavenou solí, tzv. Molten Salt Reactor (MSR).

Molten Salt Reactor (MSR) successful experiment conducted in the 60 and 70 of the 20th century in the U.S. Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). The main advantages of MSR systems are that MSR can operate with fuel used in conventional nuclear power plants and thus may help solve the problems of spent fuel.
The first section of this thesis contains a review of the operating principle of the MSR and MSR use options at the moment.
Based on available information, the author describes his idea of ??cleaning MSR fluoride salts from gaseous fission products. The proposed principle of treatment is bubbling gas fuel salt and the separation of gaseous fission products. The result of this part is a conceptual design of the primary circuit and the principle function of necessary components, ie. bubble generator and separator.
The biggest part of this work consists in determining the optimal size of the variance in circulating bubbles due to the characteristics of the fuel salt in the form of criterial equations.
Author designed and carried out a computational analysis of the bubble generator incl. drawings, plus a conceptual design of separator. The result is a process of calculation and design of test equipment for further research.
The last point with a review of measurement methods for the design of clean salt from the gaseous fission products carried in the MSR project in ORNL.
