Course objectives:

The aim of the course is chiefly to expand students' theoretical understanding of substantive and procedural civil law, especially their proficiency in the procedural civil law of Anglo-saxon countries.

Upon completion of the course, a student is proficient in the system of civil law in Anglo-saxon countries, including an understanding of the terms, institutions and implementations of civil law and civil procedure. A student also possesses an understanding of evolutionary trends in substantive and procedural civil law. |

Absolvent umí vést odbornou diskusi nad civilněprávními tématy v anglickém jazyce s použitím příslušné odborné terminologie. Dovede pracovat tvůrčím způsobem s anglickou odbornou literaturou a dalšími zdroji. Dále umí zpracovat odborný text v anglickém jazyce publikovatelné úrovně. Je schopen komparace české a příslušné zahraniční právní úpravy |
