Annotation Cílem bakalářské práce je posoudit vývoj skotské galštiny v oblasti médií, umění a náboženství a zjistit, zda je probíhající revitalizace pouze přechodným jevem nebo dlouhodobým trendem, který významným způsobem přispívá k podpoře jazyka a komunity jeho mluvčích.
Annotation in English The objective of the thesis is to examine the situation of Scottish Gaelic - the endangered language of Scotland - in the course of its development in media, art and religion and discover whether the ongoing revival is just temporary phenomenon or a long-term movement which significantly enhances both the language and the community of its speakers.

Cílem bakalářské práce je posoudit vývoj skotské galštiny v oblasti médií, umění a náboženství a zjistit, zda je probíhající revitalizace pouze přechodným jevem nebo dlouhodobým trendem, který významným způsobem přispívá k podpoře jazyka a komunity jeho mluvčích.

The objective of the thesis is to examine the situation of Scottish Gaelic - the endangered language of Scotland - in the course of its development in media, art and religion and discover whether the ongoing revival is just temporary phenomenon or a long-term movement which significantly enhances both the language and the community of its speakers.
