Diplomová práce seznamuje čtenáře s právní úpravou dědění ze závěti v Keni a krátce srovnává keňskou úpravu testamentární posloupnosti s právní úpravou v České republice. Úvodem pojednává o historickém vývoji dědického práva v Keni a poté se věnuje samotné problematice poslední vůle, její tvorbou, otázkou platnosti, jak lze poslední vůli změnit, zrušit či obnovit a v poslední řadě jejím výkladem.

The aim of this thesis is to dedicate readers to the issue of law of succession in Keya, respectively to the Kenyan adjustments to the testamentary succession, and allow the readers to compare the application of a testamentary succession in Kenya and in the Czech Republic. In the introduction, the thesis discloses historical development of the inheritance law in Kenya followed by legal issues of the will, its creation, validity, and how to alter, revoke and revive the testament and lastly its construction.
